In 2017 we began reimagining a food supply that is today dominated by “Big Food,” the brands many of us grew up with. A generation later, after decades of diets defined by ultra-processed food, the results are in – and they aren’t good.

Americans face more heart disease, diabetes, obesity and cancer per capita than any other developed country. We spend nearly 20% of our GDP on healthcare – twice what average OECD country spends. And we don’t even make the top 40 in life expectancy.

The well is poisoned. The only way to undo this madness is to build a new system. Faster supply chains, simpler ingredient statements and shorter shelf-life products. We need to start eating fresh food again.
