Positive makes food without making compromises. Our mission is to make high quality food more accessible. We're building a new food brand for today's modern generation. Today our food is available at over 50 retail stores in Los Angeles. We're looking for the right person to help us find new retail customers. Existing ones include Alfred, SunLife Organics and Pressed Juicery.

About the role

We are looking for the right person to lead sales in Los Angeles. You’ll be responsible for finding new stores that can sell Positive products, mostly focusing on independent coffee shops, juice bars, gyms and other retail spots.

What you'll will be doing

  • Evaluating our list of sales opportunities and qualifying leads, which includes doing research and having some general knowledge of the retail coffee, tea and juice landscape in LA

  • Engaging potential retail partners/customers to see if they want to sell Positive at their stores

  • Scheduling tastings, which will include driving to stores with food (you'll need a car)

  • Working with our operations team to schedule samples with the kitchen, so you have food you can take with you

  • Keeping track of the sales process and all relevant and pertinent information in our CRM

  • Daily check-ins with the team, working quickly to resolve any blockers or challenges

  • Communicating results and progress on a weekly basis in team meetings and via email

About you

  • 2+ years relevant experience working in sales, marketing or business development

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Has excellent communication skills, written & verbal

  • You're a team player, but can lead and take initiative

  • You must be results-driven

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • You are diligent and good at following up

  • You have a car, driver's license & insurance
